As action photoshoots go, this has to be the most precarious so far.

It was back in September 2006 when we shot KTM’s 990 Super Duke catalogue photos in Osaka and Kyoto, Japan.

The concept was to take KTM’s notorious 990 Super Duke and shoot video and photo media right in the heart of the world’s motorcycle manufacturing backyard – Japan.

Much of the footage was shot on Hanshin Expressway, which features a central loop that circles Osaka – elevated above street level and banked in the turns to keep traffic flowing freely at speed.
